Benefits:

You may attend any Scottish Rite regular meeting (on Tuesday evenings at the Portland Scottish Rite Center):
- Guest lectures;
- Stated meetings;
- Degrees; and
- Scottish Rite University.
You may participate in the work of the Rite: degrees, leadership, etc.
You may participate in the Master Craftsman program sponsored by the Supreme Council.

Requirements

You must be a Master Mason.
You must be a member in good standing in a Craft Lodge of a Grand Jurisdiction recognized by the Masonic Grand Lodge of Oregon.
You must complete a petition.
The proper fees must accompany your petition.

Process

Your petition will be balloted upon.
Once approved, you will be invited to attend a reunion that will be held at the Portland Scottish Rite Center. Reunions are held in the Spring and in the Fall.
At the reunion, you will receive degrees 4, 14, 18, 30 and 32. The other degrees will be communicated to you. There is no memorization involved in any of the degrees.

Result

At the conclusion of the reunion, you will be a 32° Scottish Rite Mason — a Master of the Royal Secret.
